Shard Ministry Picnic | 2018

St. Luke’s United Church of Christ and St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church will be having a Shared Ministry Picnic on Sunday June 3rd immediately following the conclusion of service at Ferndale.

Those attending are invited to bring a covered dish to share. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. St. Luke’s United Church of Christ will set up their tent. St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church will be providing drinks, ice, condiments, and sheet cake as well as bring one grill. Please talk to Walt Gaibler if you can help with any of these items.

Spring Flea Market | 2018

St. Luke Lutheran Church of Ferndale and the WELCA will be sponsoring an inside Spring Flea Market on May 18th and 19th.

Tables are available for $15 which covers both days and the Thursday evening set up period. Please consider renting a table or two. It is lots of fun plus you can get rid of some of your “stuff”. Contact Linda Shaefer to reserve your space.

  • March 24, 1:00 PM: Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ferndale.
  • March 29, 7:00 PM: Maundy Thursday worship here at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ferndale.
  • March 30, 7:00 PM: Good Friday worship at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ferndale.
  • April 1, 6:00 AM: Easter Sunrise worship with other area churches at Lake Nockamixon marina.
    • 8:00 AM: Easter breakfast here at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Ottsville.
    • 9:30AM: Easter Sunday worship here at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Ottsville.

Donations of food items for the Easter breakfast are greatly appreciated! There are sign-up sheets downstairs to make your donation.

Easter Plants are available for sale to help decorate our sanctuary for Easter morning! Order and payment must be received by Sunday, April 2nd. Please use the order forms found downstairs in the church to place your order or call the church office at 610-847-5630.

Easter Egg Hunt | 2018

St. Luke Lutheran Church of Ferndale will be having our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th.

  • March 24th, 1:00PM: Easter Egg Hunt.

All our welcome. Rain or Shine. Ages 3 to 10 to participate. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring a basket. Refreshments and prizes to be handed out.

It Is Time to Order Your Easter Flowers | 2018

It is that time of year to order your Easter flowers at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ferndale.

We will be offering Tulips, Daffodils and Hyacinths in 6 inch pots this Easter at a cost of $5.50 per plant. In addition, you can purchase a white Easter Lily for $8.25. Order forms will be distributed in the Sunday bulletins or you can call the church at 610-847-5630 to place your order.

All orders with payment must be received by Sunday, Feb. 25th.

Midweek Lenten Services | 2018

Starting on Thursday, February 22nd, we will be participating in the 2018 Lenten Midweek Program with the churches of the Palisades Cluster.

Join us Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM for a light supper followed by the program at around 7:15 PM. The program is entitled, “Making Sense of the Cross” by David Lose. Join us!
